Service Outline

The Vienna classification input assistance service provides a click & paste function, which enables figure terms, namely, divisions, sections and/or subsections of the "Japanese Subsection Table of the Vienna Classification (Second Edition, prepared in accordance with the Fifth Edition of the Vienna Classification)", to be pasted by merely clicking them, in the "Figure Term Input Area" provided in the lower frame of the page. And then, the chosen figure terms can be transferred, without performing manual copy & paste, into the corresponding entry field of "Figure Term (Vienna Classification) 1, 2, or 3" on the search page of "Searching Japanese Figure Trademarks Screen" by pressing one of the buttons of "Figure Term 1, 2, or 3" established under the input area.

Manual direct entry in the "Figure Term Input Area" also can be conducted.

Screen Explanation

When "Figure Term (Vienna Classification) Lists" is clicked, the following screen is displayed.

    Japanese Subsection Table of the Vienna Classification of Figurative Elements of Marks(HTML)

    The list of Japanese Subsection Table of the Vienna Classification of Figurative Elements of Marks (Prepared in Accordance with the Fifth Edition of the Vienna Classification, Second Edition)(HTML) is displayed in the upper frame.

    Figure Term Input Area

    The lower frame has the Input Area to input figure terms which will be used as search terms on the search page of "Searching Japanese Figure Trademarks". By clicking figure terms, namely, divisions, sections or subsections of the list of Japanese Subsection Table of the Vienna Classification of Figurative Elements of Marks, the clicked figure terms will be pasted in the area automatically. It is also possible to directly input figure terms by manual.

      

    After the chosen figure terms being pasted in the "Figure Term Input Area", the figure terms data can be transferred, without performing manual copy & paste process, into the corresponding entry field of "Figure Term (Vienna Classification) 1, 2, or 3" provided on the search page of "Searching Japanese Figure Trademarks Screen" by pressing one of the buttons of "Figure Term 1", "Figure Term 2", or "Figure Term 3" under the input area.

    Click the "Clear" button to remove all search terms in the Figure Term Input Area.

Operation Procedure

<Operation Procedure 1>
Click the Figure Term in the Table of Divisions (sections or subsections) Screen to insert the relevant classification to the textbox of the Figure Term Input Area.

[example] Division "1.1" is clicked from the Table of Divisions Screen to reflect the Figure Term classification "1.1" to the Figure Term Input Area.

<Operation Procedure 2>
By pressing one of the buttons of , , or with having the chosen figure terms in the "Figure Term Input Area", the input data will be transferred into the corresponding entry field of "Figure Term (Vienna Classification) 1, 2, or 3" provided on the search page of "Searching Japanese Figure Trademarks Screen".
[example] "" button is clicked after Classifications "1.1", "7.11", "3.3.25", and "3.5.5.04" are directly input to the Figure Term Input Area.
